Once again, these guys came through for all of our cars, a BMW 525i and my wife's VW Toureg and VW Passat.

I have a Mini, so (not to brag or anything) I haven't had any major car issues for the last four years. However, when I blew a tire on the Bay Bridge and limped into the nearest service station, I discovered the friendly folks at Masters. So, when I needed tires a year or so later, I knew this was where I would go. They didn't just replace the tires. They carefully inspected the car and made sure everything was in good shape. One of the nicest car repair experiences I've ever had.

These guys know cars. And trucks. Reliable, honest, with impeccable integrity. They diagnose before treating. They consult and offer options. Not that they need another positive review...but they all are very polite, knowledgeable, did the research to get the proper parts for my '93, and have come in under estimate every time. For me, this is about trust.

I'm one of those people that friends ask for advice on what car to buy, what's wrong with their car, and where to get it fixed. I point them toward Jim, Keith and Masters European. I know they care about their customers... one time while I was there, Jim headed off with another mechanic to help out a customer who had broken down at home. How many service auto mechanics do you know that make housecalls (other than AAA)? They're fairly priced, very easy to deal with and I trust them completely.

We have three family automobiles, all different makes, and Masters has in the last 5 years worked on each. Problems solved have ranged from simple to complex, and all have been SOLVED. This is not a shop where you go with an expectation of arguing with the owner and reducing the bill. I prefer this to other shops where I never know if the repair is a decent job, or that the "discount" reflects anything but corners that have been cut.You have to keep an eye on the service work in process -- sometimes that call regarding a bad surprise or a higher cost just doesn't happen in a timely manner. You should check in; don't wait to hear about more $$$$ when you pick up your car. Jim and the gang have a solid reputable business and we in southern Marin are glad to have them, given traffic problems going any further north for auto servicing and repair.

I recently my brakes done at Masters and have to say that they were more then professional. Jim handled my service from start to finish and the car was done within the same day the car was dropped off. If you're a southern Marin resident and may be unhappy with the recent service or don't know where to go besides the delaer, give Masters a call.
